This is a music performance by VOCAOID called carameldasnen and it's a remix of its original version by a Swedish band called SUPERGOTT and its famous in Japan where the vocaliods are from. This video illustrates the music lyrics which is about dancing and joining in with the music
This video is similar to Beyonce’s single ladies because the artist wants other people to copy the performance. The target audience have made different their own version of the video by coping Beyonce’s dance. Its same with this. Both of the videos have same camera shots and movement which is long shot which makes the audience want to copy the performance of the artist. This dance called UMA UMA is famous in Japan, in which the performer positions their hand on above there head like cat’s ears and opens and closes with the tempo of the music, whilst moving there hips at the same time.
The camera shots are long shots, which makes the audience focus on the performer and their performance. The camera keeps the performer in the centre of the shot connoting that the performer is the main objective. There are a few camera movements as denoted in the video from front view to side showing what you should be doing if you are going to perform it. There is also a beauty shot of the performer (Miku) when the camera moves in to her face.
The primary target audience for this are Japanese girls. Aged 14 to 25. Interested in electric music, reads manga and watch anime. Secondary audience could be westerns. Both female and male because in anime you also have sex appeal. Aged 14 to 16-17. With the same hobbies and interests.
There are not many shots edited but just a few. Such as from a long shot to a close up. But then again the whole video is made out of animation which is kind of a technical job.
