How effected is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

Typography- we have used the same logo of the band which is in a rock style. we triad making the text 'twirl' into a twirl but it didn't work so we kept how far it had gotten most of the people liked the text and the effect so we kept that and used it as a logo. we have used it on the shirt of the main performer on the digipack and the poster. the name (candy) of the album is written in a different style to the name of the band. the album name and the typography is suppose to foreshadow what is the song all about. the name looks like some sort of candy melting and dripping. in the music video we have not used the same style of the typography in the name of the song/ album. it is written by actual candies spelling out the name 'candy'. although the text in the music video and the ancillary texts does not link the combination of both product is effective towards the audience because the typography is not appropriate and relevant to the tasks.
Mise-en-scene
props- the band has used the same props throughout the main product and the ancillary texts, in the music video they have used the microphone and the guitars. they also used these two props on the ancillary texts. the use of the same props combines the main product and the ancillary tests and makes it look more visually appealing towards the audience therefor making it more effective.
Lighting- the lighting looks the same in the digipack and the poster but in the music video it similar but looks a bit different. in the poster and the digpack we see a lens flare but in the music video there is no lens flare. this is because the lens flare was added afterwards in photoshop. although the lighting in the music video looks a bit different because there no lights behind he band to cause a lens flare the combination of both tasks works to make it effective towards the audience because in both tasks there is high key lighting. this make is more conventional and makes it more effective.
Costume- the band is wearing a conventional pop rock clothing in the music video, poster and the digipack. this is often conventional in this genre. making it conventional make the audience feel like they know this type of stuff and makes them feel as they are targeted at this product and they will buy it yet making it effective towards the audience.
Starpersona- the band has the same visual look and style in the main product and the ancillary texts. the band is looking straight at the camera and not smiling, its a low angle of the girls making them look dominant and powerful. the same kind of angels and seriousness is carryed through out the main product.
Colours- looking at the poster digipack and the music video the colour scheme is carried throughout. in the digipack and the music video there are strips of red and white due to the song candy. the red and whit stripes are colors from candy (candy cane). the clothing of the band id also candy like, such as bright pink ankle warmers and purple t-shirts this also represents the genre of pop. the genre of rock is also represented through the colour and the clothing. for example the element of rock is denoted through the colour of black and deep red in the costume. the colours in the ancillary texts and the main product does not fully work but the combination of those make it effective.
